Hannah Cornelius was a victim of a carjack and murder by four men during her night out with her parents. She celebrated her birthday on 12 February every year. She was born in 1996 in Cape Town, City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa.
Then 21 years old Hannah was kidnapped and murdered on 27 May 2021 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa. She was a citizen of South Africa and had white ethnicity.

Four men carjacked Hannah Cornelius when she dropped her friend. After taking hostages, they beat Cheslin and dumped him to die. However, he was just unconscious but lost the hearing ability of an ear. Cheslin survived that day.
However, this wasn’t in the faith of Hannah. She was repeatedly gang-raped and fatally stabbed in the neck. After that, they dropped a 75lbs rock on her head.
Who Murdered Hannah Cornelius? Where Are They Now?
The four men involved in the murder of Hannah Cornelius were Nashville Julius, 29, Geraldo Parsons, 27, Eben Van Niekerk, 28, and Vernon Witbooi. They were found guilty of Hannah’s rape and murder.
The murderers were high on drugs, and police arrested them on the same day after a high-speed police chase. During preceding in court, they never showed any sense of guilt and kept joking as if they were there to have fun.
Julius, Van Niekerk, and Witbooi admitted that they only robbed the pair and didn’t commit the rape or murder.
These murderers are currently facing their jail time as they were sentenced to a combined 358 years behind bars, with three out of four facing life sentences following the trial at Cape Town high court.
